Um sicherzustellen, daß ein in Deutschland gezüchteter Dobermann möglichst dem angestrebten Standard in Aussehen und Wesen entspricht, 
werden nur Hunde zur Zucht zugelassen, welche die Zuchttauglichkeitsprüfung (ZTP) erfolgreich abgelegt haben.
